That’s exactly how I felt when I started my first internship at an insurance brokerage. I didn’t even know what a brokerage was. I walked in with zero experience and quickly found myself surrounded by unfamiliar terms, complex policies, and acronyms I’d never heard before. But I stuck with it. I asked questions, learned from experienced professionals, and gained insight into everything from commercial construction policies to personal auto coverage. That experience opened my eyes to how inaccessible insurance knowledge can be, and it inspired me to build a resource that makes it easier for others to learn.

If I hadn’t completed that internship, I would never have discovered this path, and this website wouldn’t exist. We want to help others find that same opportunity.
